What is RestorFX?

RestorFX is a chemical clear coat restoration process that permanently resurfaces the vehicles paint, removing surface scratches, and minimizing deep scratches that still have a layer of paint. The process also eliminates swirls and water spots, while reducing etching caused by pollution, tree sap, and other debris.

 

What is ClearFX?

ClearFx uses a process that strengthens the vehicle’s paint surface and clear coat. This process is mainly for new vehicles, however it can be applied to older vehicles that have had the paint corrected before the process.  ClearFX provides an additional layer of protection against scratches, tree sap, etching and other debris.

 

What to Expect

You can expect a consultation, which includes a vehicle inspection to address areas of concern and to answer any other questions that you may have.

Once the vehicle is at the shop, a chemical test is performed on each panel of the vehicle to evaluate the integrity of the paint and clear coat. This will inform you of the type of results that can be expected upon completion.

 

How Long Does it Take?

The RestorFX and ClearFX process each takes approximately 24 hours from the time the vehicle is dropped off or picked up for the initial cure. The treatment is fully cured within 2 weeks, weather permitting.

Other services such as headlights, trim, and paint chip restoration is within the day, and  weather permitting as there is still a curing process that takes place.

 

Will My Vehicle Be Picked-Up?

Arrangements can be made for your vehicle to be picked-up if it is within 15 km of the RestorFX Milton location. There are no rental vehicles available but you can be dropped off at the nearest bus stop, or car rental location if you choose, and if you are within the 15 km area you can be dropped off back home.

 

Is My Vehicle Safe Overnight?

Your vehicle stays indoors overnight to allow the RestorFX/ClearFX to cure in a controlled environment. Your keys are locked in a safe, which is locked away, and when the shop is closed a monitored alarm is also activated. There are also multiple cameras on the exterior of the building complex.

 

How Long Does ResorFX/ClearFX Last?

The RestorFX and ClearFX system requires you to follow the care instructions given, and posted under the respective pages to ensure the longevity of the product. With proper care the RestorFX and ClearFX treatments will restore and protect your investment for years.
